One in five murders in the UK are committed by an ex-prisoner. News24 lifestyle editor Herman Eloff talks to journalist and criminologist Donal MacIntyre nearly the new CBS Justice criminal offense testify, Released to Impale.
In 1981, Theodore Johnson pushed his wife, Yvonne Johnson, off the balcony of their 9th-floor apartment. The court would afterward rule that he acted in self-defence, and he was institute guilty of manslaughter, instead of murder.

Shortly later, Theodore used a claw hammer to bludgeon Angela to death. He and then threw himself in front of a train and survived.
Spring to a wheelchair and found guilty of murder, the 68-year-old was sentenced to a minimum of xxx years in prison.

Released to Kill focuses on 10 intriguing real-life cases that Donal and a team of experts unpack.
